Irish Craft Cocktail Awards 2017 Long List Announcement

We now turn this list over to our Industry panel of voters to whittle it down to a shortlist of nominees, 6 bars for each category (12 for best bartender) and eventually choose the winner of each.

Appearing on this long list is in itself a fantastic achievement, so well done! It means your friends and customers have cared enough about what you do to nominate you for an Irish Craft Cocktail Award. It gives you or your bar an opportunity to be selected by the industry panel to be nominated for our awards night celebration.

But first, if your bar is listed, we will be contacting you in the next day or two to to let you know the next steps and what we need from you. So keep an eye on your bars official email account and Facebook page.

If you don’t hear from us please reach out and let us know via Facebook messenger or via email to irishcraftcocktailawards@gmail.com

€3470 raised for Pieta House at the Irish Craft Cocktail Awards 2016

We are delighted to announce that we raised an incredible total of €3470 with our annual charity auction during the Irish Craft Cocktail Awards 2016. All proceeds went to Pieta House.

Pieta House has seen and helped over 20,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm, and established eight subsequent centres, three in the greater Dublin area – Ballyfermot, Tallaght and Finglas and five further centres to cater for the rest of the country in Limerick, Cork, Tipperary, Galway and Kerry.

Everything is free of charge and their staff are fully qualified and provide a professional one-to-one therapeutic service for people who are experiencing suicidal ideation, people who have attempted suicide and people who are engaging in self-harm. A doctor’s referral or a psychiatric report is not required.

Pieta House also operates the Suicide Bereavement Counselling centres that had previously been operated by Console. They provide free counselling, therapy and support to individuals, couples, families and children who have been bereaved by suicide. They also offer a Suicide Bereavement Liaison Service and the Freecall 24/7 suicide helpline 1800 247 247.
